On to Paris!

Ah, Paris in the spring!  What a beautiful city this is... we stayed in a perfect flat right next to Luxembourg Gardens, and central to all of the big sights.  A view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony didn't hurt either! Jack flew down from Scotland again, and we had an amazing time... the Orsay, Louvre and L'Orangerie art museums, the Army Museum and Napoleon's tomb, the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, a special walking tour of the Latin Quarter down to Notre Dame on a beautiful night with a full moon and a knowledgeable ex-pat for a guide, a cruise on the River Seine, the Tuileries Gardens - and of course some heavenly French food!  We had 68 degrees and sunshine again, just like London... and some air pollution meant we rode the metro for free all weekend. To make our trip even more special, Taylor and Heather visited us at our flat for a night of wine and cheese.
