OK, how did that happen? Today was our 25th anniversary! We had to choose between going to Benihana's for dinner, and a trip to Europe... so we decided to wait for a stronger dollar and put off the Europe vacation. It's hard to believe that it has been 25 years since that hot June day in St. Anthony in 1983. Mary & Vern dropped by tonight, too, and reminded us that the next 25 will go just as quick!
We might have hit 80 degrees today, finally, so we hit the lake for some tubing - even though we had so much wind, there were whitecaps and 3 foot waves on White Bear Lake. Libby & Luke went along, and brought a couple of neighbor friends. We capped the day with a barbecue on our new patio...
Spring means baseball (and softball for Libby). Here is Luke in action, with his brother and sister on the sidelines for support. Luke loves to hit (he always swings at the first pitch, like Libby), and play catcher and short stop. He's got quite the arm already.
Well, spring has finally arrived! We think. It was warm enough on Saturday - as long as we were running down-wind - to have the boat out on White Bear Lake. Luke enjoyed driving, as usual, and Libby found her customary place in the bow. We toured the lake, ate fish (McDonalds, not from the lake) and decided the water wasn't yet warm enough for tubing.
